An illustration for part of an assignment I did. This is based off of the story of the Hawaiian demigod, Maui. Which, in this case, happens to be an origin story of the Hawaiian islands— hence “Origins.”
The whole thing is to try and revive the 2D animation industry in the United States. It’s totally a good cause! There’s an e-book that’s out now for mac and ipad users and it’ll be on other platforms sometime next month.
Tonight while driving home from taking care of my friends’ cats, my sister and I saw what we believe to be aliens or UFO’s. There were 6 orb type things flying low and fast over the road; there were 2 vertical columns one with 2 orbs in it and one with 3 orbs in it, the 6th orb was a straggler…
So followers, remember that stop motion I did for my production class? Welp, here it is. I’ll eventually reedit and motion stabilize it for my reel, but for now please enjoy a month’s worth(ish) of work.
So the reason for the lack of posts lately is mostly because of school… in fact, all because of school. So no new fan art for a while, but I have been doing school related things. Such as a 30 second scene stop motion of a fairy tale. I picked Little Red Riding Hood and changed things up a bit (I’ll post that when it’s actually finished). In the mean time here’s Red without a face and the unfinished wolf.
